As if last week couldn’t have been more exciting, we had the privilege of sitting down with TVNZ’s Daniel Faitaua for an interview for Seven Sharp. He’s such a pro – no wonder he’s a Foreign Press Association Media Awards nominee.

10 October 2026: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
A massive thank you to the Ding Dong Lounge for hosting us, to Jethro Clarke, Rancho Mirage and to all our friends, families and workmates who came along and made it such a fantastic night! We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout or a more enthusiastic crowd. It was loud, it was fun and it was a huge success! Your support means a lot to us and you’ve helped make this a night we’ll remember for a long time. Thanks for coming along and rocking out with Big Red Day!

What have we been up to? LOTS. We’re super pumped about our upcoming live show on October 9 and we’ve finished our video for ‘SuperNova’ which we’ll also release on October 7. And in the wings we ‘Rise And Fall’ to release soon, which has been a labour of love since we filmed it in March!
Looking forward we still have another 6 mixed and mastered songs (thanks Stebbing Records), new video ideas and new songs to record. Strap in Big Red Day fans, it’s about to get busy!

That’s a wrap on our fourth video, this one for SuperNova. Filmed in our local community hall with an incredible cast of friends: Jaycee, Krissy, Marsa, Robert, Sarah, Shona, Vicky and our lead Mercia. We asked a lot of you guys and you were fantastic! A huge thanks also to Deanna on camera and lights. So many laughs, even though we were making a drama! Release date: TBC September.

25 June 2026:
Exciting news Big Red Day fans! The release date for our next single Run (Lonely) is: Friday July 17, 2026.
It’s a banger! The video will follow a few days later and we’re super proud of it. It’s been a massive effort and every time you watch it you’ll see something new.
In other news, we’re starting the production of the video for our song SuperNova. This one’s more like a short film and featuring some very special friends of the band.
And finally, we’ve locked in some live gigs for later in the year. Stay tuned for details.
